WELCOME to our community! We find forever homes for dogs when they arrive at our New Hampshire facility and receive all necessary health certificates.

Through cooperation with our close-knit rescue partners in the south, Mary's Dogs Rescue & Adoption staff, volunteers, Board members, and adoptive families in New England effect a three-fold mission:

1. We actively support the efforts of our rescue partners who work to reduce the number of homeless dogs by rescuing dogs off the streets and from shelters, and who raise awareness of canine health issues, and spay and neuter programs.

2. We ensure excellent supportive and medical care of rescued dogs throughout the adoption process and follow up with families after dogs are placed in their homes. Through every step of the rescue and adoption, connections are made between people, cultures, and dogs. Our community is extremely grateful for the supportive network that embraces us.

It’s our LAST photo challenge, and we want to see how your dogs and cats are celebrating today!

Show us those costumes! We’re ready for tiny monsters, furry superheroes, and cats who are clearly planning to discuss this with you later.

If costumes aren’t your pet’s thing, their adorable face is more than enough. “Absolutely not wearing that” is a perfectly acceptable Halloween look!

If you’ve been saying, “I’ll sign up for the 5K later,” Charlie is here to tell you later is here. It’s TOMORROW!

We’re getting ready for our Run for the Dogs 5K, and there’s room for more runners, walkers, and friends who are mostly coming for the coffee and company.

Join the 5K run/walk or the 2-mile walk, spend some time with our vendors, and help support the care of our rescue dogs. We’d love to see a great turnout for pups like Charlie!

Our Run for the Dogs 5K is this Sunday, and we’d love for you to join us! Sunshine is in the forecast, the pups are warming up their paws, and we have some wonderful vendors ready to welcome you!

Before or after your run or walk, stop by and meet:

Barking Sisters Coffee: One family. Three rescue dogs. One passion for great coffee. They’ll be serving freshly brewed coffee and espresso, and if you were at our Open House and Ribbon Cutting, you know it will be delicious!

Take Five Dogcare: Dog daycare, dog and cat boarding, and grooming services in Lee, NH, including a special Sugar Face Oasis for senior pups.

Jody Crotty - Animal Intuitive: Jody offers intuitive animal communication sessions to help you discover the amazing lessons your animal wants you to know. She also offers pet loss support services.

TD Bank: Stop by to say hello to their team and learn about their community-focused services that make a difference for organizations like Mary’s Dogs.

Old Dogs Go To Helen: Meet an adorable senior pup and learn more about their amazing work for older and hospice dogs. They’ll also be accepting donations from their wish list!

Colleen Lent, Author: Colleen, a contributing author in Chicken Soup for the Soul: Best Dog Ever, will be sharing books and offering a book signing.

We headed back to the rescue with happy, sleepy pups, lots of photos, and a few costume ideas we may need to borrow next year.

Thank you, Tideline Public House, for having Mary’s Dogs and supporting our pups. It means a lot to have local businesses invite us in and help us keep doing this work.

To everyone who came out, thank you for spending your afternoon with us! We enjoyed meeting you, talking dogs, and watching everyone show off their costumes.

And to our volunteers, thank you for getting the pups there and giving them a fun afternoon out. We appreciate the time and care you put into every outing. ❤️

Our pups took their fall outings seriously: explore the corn maze, meet new friends, pose for pictures, repeat. It’s a busy schedule, but someone has to do it.

Thank you to Marston Farm for having us and supporting Mary’s Dogs! We’re grateful for the chance to bring our dogs into the community, let people meet them, and enjoy some fall fun together.

To everyone who came out and spent time with our pups, thank you for making them feel welcome. And to our volunteers, thank you for holding leashes, sharing their stories, and helping them have a great day.

We appreciate everyone who made room for our dogs in their fall plans! ❤️

Sabin can’t tie your sneakers, but he’s a pretty good reason to put them on this Sunday.

Our Run for the Dogs 5K is THIS SUNDAY, and we’d love for more people to join us! It’s one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, helping us care for pups like Sabin while they wait for their families.

Run or walk the 5K, or join the 2-mile walk. Bring a friend, catch up along the way, and turn a Sunday morning outing into something that helps the dogs. Talking about your own dog for the entire route is perfectly acceptable! We understand.

Chip heard we need volunteers and offered to help with recruiting. We think he makes a pretty convincing case.

Are you a high school student who needs volunteer hours? We’re looking for volunteers to help with setup, cleanup, and serving as course marshals at our Run for the Dogs 5K on Sunday, November 1st, at the Deerfield Fairgrounds.

Course marshals help keep runners and walkers on the right path. The dogs may still suggest a detour toward an interesting smell. 😊

We’d love to welcome students working on their volunteer hours, and anyone else who’d like to lend a hand! Your help makes one of our biggest fundraisers of the year possible and supports pups like Chip while they wait for their families.

Our pups would like to know if this is what people mean by a “fully loaded” vehicle. If so, they approve!

A huge thank you to PetSmart in Newington for this generous donation of food and supplies for Mary’s Dogs! You filled the back seats AND the trunk, and we’re so grateful.

Keeping our pups fed and cared for while they wait for their families takes a village, and we're thankful to have you as part of ours.

Thank you for thinking of our dogs and sending us home with such a wonderful carload. We’re pretty sure the pups will volunteer to help unload. Their methods may need supervision!
