A judge just ruled background checks on ammo as unconstitutional. You can now purchase ammo through Midway or another mail order company and have it shipped directly to your home. I just found 10 boxes of ammo at Midway. That’s locally $85 but online was $41 with free shipping.

Finished this crazy hog for Frontera Guide Servive. The teeth were cast so they are exact replicas.

Finished up some true giants. One of these is from Colorado, but the rest are here in California. Some are special draws that are hard to get but not all of them.

I’ll be making a trip to Texas one weekend in April or May. The earlier the better. I’ll be leaving on a Thursday night or Friday morning and flying down and hunting Friday afternoon through Sunday if necessary. I’ll be hunting big axis deer but the ranch has blackuck also. Let me know if you’re interested in coming along and hunting one of these great animals. If you’ve ever priced out a hunt for these, then you know it’s dirt cheap. They are a beautiful animal. Flight is $400. Hunt is $3300 up to 32” axis which is big. $100/inch after. $300 for food and lodging. $400 to fly or you can drive. Interested?
