Sorry, this is a little long, but I was interrupted twice by the thunder. Just talking about what to do when your pet is afraid of thunder. Stay safe out there!!

In a nutshell:
1. Don't reward the behavior with coddling. Try to ignore them.
2. Pharmaceutical help may be needed.
3. Thundershirts sometimes help
4. Desensitization can sometimes work.

Work with your vet to find the best solution for your pet.

We have an obesity crisis in our country - both humans and pets. The extra weight not only adds an increased risks for certain diseases, but it limits our ability to do a thorough exam on your pet. Are the extra treats worth a life threatening disease???

This Pet Poison Prevention Awareness Month, our team is brushing up on seasonal dangers to keep our own four-legged coworkers (and couch potatoes at home) safe. Because if there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s that toxins don’t take a holiday—and spring brings a whole new batch of temptations.

Right now we’re extra careful about:
🌷 Spring blooms – Lilies, daffodils, and tulips are beautiful to us, but dangerous to them.
🍫 Easter treats – Chocolate and sweetened candies are staying far out of reach.
🥑 People food – Even healthy snacks like grapes, onions, and avocado are strictly off-limits.

Meet our own beloved fur babies—the reason we take this stuff so seriously. 💚
