It is with a very heavy heart we come here and let you all know that Prince passed away today!!💔😭💔💔😭
Prince suffered chemical burns, and he spent weeks with those burns.
Burns are very serious injuries, extremely painful, and not only causes visible injuries burns to his extent can cause internal damage to other organs, and just so much more…
Help for Prince came too late, unfortunately and that is just a sad reality for so many animals…we really thought Prince was turning a corner for the better but sometimes, these babies in such bad shape who have been living in survival mode, get to a point they finally let their guards down and let their bodies come out of survival mode and finally feel safe to be able to let go.
Prince I believe finally felt safe enough to do that. We still don’t and may never know the full extent of the damages not only from having chemical burns on at least half his body but the damage done from the test of time not being cared for..💔
Prince didn’t leave this cruel world alone in the woods, alone. He thankfully was surrounded by people who cared, and have fought for a week straight for him and knowing he matters.
He passed away in his sleep next to a new found doggy friend he made the last 2 days, curled up next to him😭
Some have said he had a friend that he used to roam with, that had been hit and killed. He didn’t pass alone.
Ugh!!! This is absolutely THE HARDEST part of rescue, is accepting not every single one can be saved. But it sure as hell wasn’t for lack of trying.
Rest easy sweet Prince. You left this world loved by many, some who hadn’t even gotten the chance to meet you yet.
