🐾💛 SEPTEMBER IS HAPPY CAT MONTH! 💛🐾

Around here, we think every month should be Happy Cat Month… but we’ll happily take an official excuse to celebrate! 😻

A happy cat isn’t just a cat with a full food bowl. Happiness means feeling safe, healthy, comfortable, loved, and understood.

This month, we’re encouraging cat families to think about the little things that make a BIG difference:

🐾 Make time for play and enrichment
🐾 Give them cozy, quiet places to rest
🐾 Keep up with routine veterinary care
🐾 Spay & neuter — it saves lives
🐾 Provide scratching, climbing and exploring opportunities

🚨 CASE FILE #004: ATTICUS CLAW ⚖️🐾

Authorities have been advised to proceed carefully with today’s fugitive.

Not because he’s particularly dangerous.

Because he has threatened to sue everyone involved.

⚖️ ATTICUS CLAW ⚖️
Attorney at Paw. Counselor for the Accused. Absolutely Not Licensed.

Claw has appointed himself legal counsel for the entire colony despite having no law degree, no bar membership, and no discernible understanding of the judicial system.

His alleged crimes include:

⚖️ Practicing law without a license, education, or opposable thumbs
🐾 Filing 17 motions to dismiss the trap on grounds of “entrapment”
📜 Serving a cease-and-desist letter to a trapper by sitting directly on it
🐟 Demanding all interrogations include court-appointed tuna
🐾 Representing three tomcats in a paternity dispute and somehow getting all three acquitted
⚖️ Filing an injunction against neutering on behalf of “himself and similarly situated gentlemen”
🏠 Claiming squatter’s rights to a porch he has occupied for approximately 11 minutes
🐿️ Attempting to call a squirrel as an expert witness
📋 Submitting a 47-page appeal consisting entirely of paw prints
🐾 Objecting every time investigators say the word “trap”
⚖️ Accusing the Alley of violating his constitutional right to remain intact
🐟 And attempting to settle all pending charges for two cans of Fancy Feast and complete immunity from prosecution

Investigators eventually presented Claw with photographic evidence.

He knocked it off the table.

The defense rests.

Authorities later attempted to apprehend him using sardines.

Claw approached the trap, examined the evidence, consulted briefly with another community cat…

and declared the entire operation “ENTRAPMENT.”

He then left the jurisdiction by going underneath a shed.

We have been advised by his attorney—also him—that he has no further comment.

🚨 CASE FILE #003: HARRY PAWTER ⚡🐾

Authorities were first alerted to this suspect after several witnesses reported seeing a small, furry individual running full speed through a residential yard while yelling absolutely nothing because he is, in fact, a cat.

Further investigation identified the suspect as:

The Boy Who Refused to Be Trapped

Pawter claims to be a wizard.

Investigators would normally dismiss this allegation—except we have watched this cat disappear into thin air approximately 47 times.

His alleged crimes include:

⚡ Practicing unauthorized catcraft and wizardry within city limits
🐾 Entering privately owned sheds through openings investigators are confident do not physically accommodate a cat
🪄 Turning one community cat into six community cats through what authorities initially believed was magic but has since been identified as failure to spay and neuter
🐁 Possession of a wand believed to be one stolen stick
🦉 Attempting to send official correspondence by screaming at an owl for 23 consecutive minutes
🧙 Operating an unaccredited School of Witchcat & Wizardry behind a privately owned garage

⚡ Casting Expelliarmus on a trapper and somehow causing them to drop an entire can of sardines

Holmes has allegedly spent years studying trapper behavior and is now believed to possess an uncomfortably thorough understanding of TNVR operations.

His alleged crimes include:

🐾 Disappearing the exact moment a trap is set
🐾 Solving mysteries nobody asked him to solve
🐾 Memorizing every escape route within a three-mile radius
🐾 Leaving suspicious tufts of fur at crime scenes simply to “keep things interesting”
🐾 Interrogating neighborhood cats in exchange for treats
🐾 Operating an unauthorized surveillance network consisting entirely of squirrels
🐾 Moving bait OUT of traps without triggering them and refusing to explain how
🐾 Following trappers home to determine where they live
🐾 Filing anonymous complaints regarding the “obvious and insulting placement” of trap camouflage
🐾 And repeatedly appearing behind investigators who were actively looking for him

Investigators recently attempted to lure Holmes into custody with sardines.

He inspected the trap.

Inspected the bait.

Inspected the trapper.

Then reportedly sat six feet away and watched another cat get caught.

Authorities believe this was intentional.

Frankly, it felt personal.

🐾 Possession of 37 pounds of unlicensed tuna
🐾 Hosting lavish 3 A.M. parties behind a privately owned residence without the homeowner’s knowledge, consent, or adequate parking
🐾 Laundering catnip through several neighborhood colonies
🐾 Running an illegal biscuit factory staffed entirely by kittens
🐾 Fathering an undisclosed number of heirs and refusing to pay kitten support
🐾 Attempting to bribe a trapper with one deceased mouse

🐾 Repeatedly staring DIRECTLY into a baited trap before simply walking around it

When questioned about the allegations, Catsby reportedly slow blinked and left the scene.
