🐾 Kitten Intake & Litter to Legacy Program Update 🐾
Due to a significant increase in kittens coming into our care through ongoing trapping efforts, we are temporarily pausing new kitten intakes and new enrollments in our Litter to Legacy Program.
Our priority right now is ensuring that every kitten currently in our care receives proper evaluation, quarantine, medical attention, and placement preparation before moving into foster or adoptive homes. Taking the time to do this safely helps protect both the kittens already in our program and those entering it.
This pause allows us to remain responsible, sustainable, and focused on quality care over quantity. While we wish we could help every kitten immediately, providing excellent care to the animals already depending on us must come first.
If we have already made arrangements regarding a litter or kittens, those commitments will be honored.
As kittens complete quarantine, move into foster homes, and find their forever families, we will reassess our capacity and resume assistance through both our TNVR efforts and the Litter to Legacy Program as resources allow.
Thank you all for your continued support, patience, and understanding as we work to provide the best possible care for every cat and kitten that comes through our doors.
And if you happen to know someone looking to adopt a sweet kitten... well, we may know a few. 😜🐱❤️
🐾 P.S. If you’ve ever considered fostering, now is the perfect time to reach out. Every foster home that opens up helps us move another kitten to safety and creates room for us to assist the next one in need. 🐾
