Goodbye, Dr. Nick🐾

Dr. Nick had the unexpected opportunity to buy back his dad’s clinic from corporate—a true once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that he just couldn’t pass up. We couldn’t be happier for him as he gets to return home and continue the legacy that started it all.

We’re definitely sad to see Dr. Nick go, but we’re so grateful we got to be a part of his journey! We loved having him here at Atchison Animal Clinic—getting to learn from him, laugh with him, and make plenty of memories along the way. 🐾

While we’ll miss him around here, we’re excited for his next chapter as he heads back home to Arkansas! 🏡

If your pet tests positive, treatment isn’t as simple as giving a pill. It typically involves a series of veterinary-administered injections, medications to manage complications, and strict exercise restriction throughout treatment. Treatment can be lengthy, costly, and comes with risks—making prevention the safest and easiest option!

Keep your pets protected year-round and make sure they’re up to date on their heartworm testing and prevention. ❤️🐾
