🚨2 Pups Looking For New Homes🚨
Luna and Leo’s family is going through some hard times and they are unable to keep them. Negativity will not help these sweet souls find homes so please know it won’t be tolerated.
Luna is the brindle pit/boxer mix. She was born March of 2019. She is still very playful and likes to stay busy. She can be a bit aloof and definitely knows how to give herself space if she is overwhelmed. She helped raise the family’s two boys and has always done wonderfully. But if the kiddos are being a little too rambunctious, she’ll run off to play on her own. She does have anxiety when it comes to fireworks, storms, and gunshots and will hide in a dark corner or behind the couch and shake. Still a wonderful family girl.
Leo is the white lab/weimaraner mix and he was born August of 2019. He is very calm and relaxed. He is a very chill dog and can be a couch potato. He has also watched over his little boys. They can crawl all over him and he lays there and sleeps through it all. As the kiddos grew, they occasionally pulled on his ears or tail and he didn’t react. (This is not the go ahead to allow anyone to intentionally hurt him, this was just babies and their dog learning to co-exist and love one another). He is the perfect family dog.
Both dogs are house and kennel trained. They listen very well and know the commands “Sit”, “Shake”, and “Stay”. We let them outside and they stay in our yard (not fenced in) and come back to the door when done going potty. They will sit at the door when they need to go outside. Obviously with a new home they would need to learn, they may run off if a new family tries this without security in place.
They have done well with the dogs they have grown up with, but they need 🐢slow🐢introductions to new dogs. They have both done well around cats. They are both fixed but are behind on vaccines.
We would love to try to find a home where they can continue living together first. Losing their family is going to be hard and we’re hoping to insure they don’t lose one another. They always sleep curled up next to one another and love to play together.
