❤️ Grover’s Road to Recovery❤️
Over the weekend, Grover was rushed to the emergency hospital after becoming extremely lethargic and completely unlike the happy dog we know and love. After an emergency evaluation, veterinarians discovered that he was suffering from a urinary blockage caused by bladder stones—a life-threatening condition that prevented him from urinating.
His bladder was dangerously obstructed, and he was also battling a severe bladder infection. There was no time to wait. Grover underwent emergency surgery to remove the stones and give him a second chance.
Thankfully, Grover made it through surgery and is now recovering with a patient and loving foster. We are incredibly grateful that he is on the road to healing, but his journey isn’t over yet.
Grover is one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. He deserves the chance to recover, find a loving family, and enjoy the life every dog should have. Instead, he found himself fighting for his life.
We’re facing an emergency veterinary bill of approximately $9633.12 and are asking for your help. Every donation, no matter the amount, goes directly toward Grover’s lifesaving care. Any contribution you make will help FOTAS continue saying “yes” when the next animal needs emergency medical care.
Being a rescue means stepping in when animals have nowhere else to turn. Sometimes that means providing routine care, and sometimes it means making impossible decisions in the middle of the night to save a life. Thanks to your support, Grover got that chance.
❤️ Please consider donating today. If you’re unable to give, sharing Grover’s story is another powerful way to help.
Thank you for believing in dogs like Grover and for helping us give them the second chances they deserve.
