Sweet story about The Hiker Hubby 💕

Loose volcanic scree, boulder fields and a deceptive false summit await those who attempt the climb.

Julia says: when you can’t beat them, 💀 them. Since she came in 2nd place to her buddy Des in all her jumper classes she took matters 🔪 into her own hands. Unfortunately even as a skeleton he is still a ripping fast dog stealing all her ribbons.

Julia had a great weekend! She Q’d in every jumpers class and was one popped weave pole away from Q’ing every standard run. She finished both her Open titles with all 2nd or 1st places. And she picked up her first Excellent level qualification with a 1st place.

But more importantly she really turned on this weekend! She LOVES the game, she walks in with the biggest smile on her face. Her confidence arrived this weekend and she started giving me the distance speed more like she has at her home arena.

I won’t be able to practice with her before our next competition, as I am up at my Dad’s, who is in hospice and not doing well. Leo and I headed up directly after the trial and got in late last night. Please keep him in your thoughts as he gets ready to leave this world. I’m sorry in advance for my lack of engagement here in my comments and DMs, I’ll try to respond when I can ❤️. I cannot thank you all enough for all the beautiful support and kindness you have all given me.
