JUNE 1ST IS NATIONAL GO BAREFOOT DAY 🐾
It’s the perfect day to address- The dopamine of the BEAN
When humans kick off their shoes, we call it "grounding" and it’s been proven to lower stress levels when we "touch grass" and feel the earth beneath our tootsies. Let’s be real: Shoes are feet prisons and dogs figured that out ages ago. Let’s go bare-pawed with them, stop rushing, feel the cool grass, and match their frequency.
Every bean below (and many more not pictured) is currently waiting on the shelter floor to get out, touch some grass and run wild through a forever yard of their own.

❌PLEASE HELP US FIRE WOODY
This year old plott hound mix keeps getting voted "Employee of the Month" for 9 months in a row now, and frankly, he’s overqualified. His current job duties include:
Supervising morning treat distribution
Testing the durability of all shelter blankets, towels, and toys
Greeting every visitor with the hope that they are the one
He is an excellent coworker but he distracts the staff with his rugged handsomeness, and he needs a manager who can embrace his parkour sessions with a backyard big enough for his stunts. We love him but simply cannot in good conscience continue to exploit him here as he barely makes enough bones to fill his direct de-paws-it account.
Help us terminate his contract and hire him for the most important job of all: Your new best friend
