Well the typical " thoroughbreds are walking vet bills" proved itself again. I bring the horses in to feed Wednesday night and ol Patty dont wanna walk to good. I notice she has a minor superficial abrasion on her left thigh and think "to be sure that isnt the issue" then yesterday her hock swells up and this am her entire leg is swollen 🤦‍♀️. What in the world. Im not sure if she got kicked or what but now she's back to being lame and nursing an injury. Meds are being given and DMSO is her friend. Discussion: I seen this comment. My thoughts were...

We are not creating fear. The fear is already there. We r teaching a prey animal not everything is scary and not everything will kill them. We teach them to use the thinking side of their brain, instead of the reactive side.

Let's have a discussion and not name calling or bullying because of different views.
