So sorry, Nona's friends, but I am on hospice care now and my dog cookie baking days are probably over. It was such fun meeting dog lovers and dogs. I can't wait to see my Atticus and Olo again. Love to all.

Wow. Every time I see the picture of beloved Atticus pop up, it tugs at my heart. That was one special Saint!

Ok. As promised. Olo Peanut Butter Crunchers. 4cups whole wheat flour, 2cups oatmeal, 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter, 2 1/4 cups hot water, 1Tablespoon honey or molasses (or more), 1 1/2 teaspoon sea salt. Pour hot water over peanut butter, add salt, honey and mix. Add flour and oats; knead well. I use a Kitchen aid mixer dough hook. Roll to 3/8 "" and cut into shapes. Dock. That means poke holes through each cookie. Bake at 325degrees for about 45-50 minutes. I use two sheets, one in middle and one next rack down and rotate after 20-25 minutes.Turn off oven and let cookies cool in there for super crunch. Enjoy.

Just made a new Yum-Yum. 1cup rice flour, 1 cup whole oats, 1 ripe banana, 1/3 cup peanut butter, 1 Tablespoon molasses or honey, 1 Tablespoon water. Mix together with hands. Press into bottom of a greased 9x13" pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and cut into squares. (In pan) Bake another 20 then flip over squares and bake 15 minutes more.I go for super crunch so I turn off oven and let them cool in there. Or cool on rack. Your call.
