Hi FB friends! We are looking for a full time caregiver for my beautiful daughter, Wendy and her two precious children ,my grand babies. Katie is 2 and Dustin is 5 and has non verbal Autism and requires special attention as well . Wendy has Huntington’s disease, which is a terminal neurological disease that has affected her cognitive functioning ability. She is unable to drive anymore, and with two kids, that makes it exceedingly difficult.The disease is progressing rapidly and she is need of prayers and assistance with everyday life. Blake her husband is in pilot training for an airline career which is a necessity to have the insurance they will need as time passes,although he would much rather be by her side as much as possible, so he is not always around to help. We are looking for someone to be available to help cook, change diapers, clean the house, do laundry, run errands, doctors’ appointments, etc. Wendy is physically unable to do these things anymore. There may be times that we will need help bathing the children in the evening, and Wendy too as this disease progresses. We need someone consistently Monday thru Friday and occasional weekends. Hours will be 7:00 am till 4:00 pm but can vary slightly given a specific situation. With Blake being gone occasionally overnight, we will need someone who can stay overnight, in the occasion that we need them. This should not happen often but may be needed as Blakes career schedule changes and her disease progresses . We are obviously looking for someone to assist our family long term. Her disease will only progressively worsen. Pay will start at $10.00/hr. and hours can range 30-45 per week. We also may take day trips or overnight vacations trips for the kids and may need you to come along to help as well. Thank you for your consideration, and please, only serious inquiries .
