Khindness earned her name the day she was born with a literal heart on her forehead. And she lives up to her name, with a stacked pedigree to boot.

She’s by 2021 MidSummer Western Pleasure Jr Horse National Champion Verdict J+ (Versace x Alishahmaal), bred by the late great Larry Jerome to be an outcross to his legendary heard of Khadraj mares. Khindness follows this strategy, as she is out of the Khadraj NA+++/ daughter, Khaleesi J.

Khaleesi herself is a Western Pleasure winner before beginning her career as a broodmare. Khindness JV is Khaleesi’s first foal, and we couldn’t be more excited for what is to come. Khindness possesses beautiful eyes (that perfectly set on both sides of her heart-shaped star), long, angular frame and beautiful movement.

With Khadraj sitting in that important maternal grandsire pedigree spot, we’re confidant Khindness will find success in the show ring, the breeding shed, or even both. She would cross beautifully with Major Mac V.
