One of our handy dandy helpers, Talissa, captured this video yesterday of Ocho on his walk. When she sent us this video, it was followed by a statement we thought everyone should read:

“One thing Ocho has taught me is resilience. No matter how traumatic and dark our past was, and may have been, we have the strength to move forward even if it's spurts at a time. No matter how cruel someone was to us, we can transmute those negatives to positivity. To still continue to be loving, caring, and happy. To live our best life.”

Didn’t think we were serious about protection work?!?! Say hello to NOVA!!! This lil lady came to us from Blaine, MN. She was lined up to do explosive detection work, but it turns out, she’s a spicy tamale!!! 🌶️😈
This makes her the perfect candidate to be a working dog! Nova is a 6 month old Belgian Malinois/Dutch Shepherd mix with a lot of sass and a hardcore prey drive. Over the next several months, Nova will be working on her basic obedience, as well as her confidence and bite development. Like, share, and hit follow so you can see what we’re going to do with this amazing pup!!! 😎🐶

The 4th of July parade is meant to be a SAFE and FUN event for our community!!! Given the recent threats by a local business owner, we want to remind everyone we will be rolling heavy with dogs trained in handler protection. Any physical threats of violence to our trainers or support staff may result in SIGNIFICANT injuries from one of our K9s!!! PLEASE BE SMART!!!

That being said, we have lots of candy, lots of tennis balls, lots of frisbees, and lots of bite work to share with you!!!

The K9 demos at the Saint Germain 4th of July event were a HUGE success! Thank you everyone for coming out to watch and support us!! This is one heck of a community!

We are reposting this as Jo is a good trainer friend of ours and what she has to say is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!! Your children need to respect your dog’s boundaries!!! We cannot stress this enough! So many dog bites are the result of children (and adults) not respecting their dog’s personal space and belongings. Show your dog some respect…😎🐶
