𝐌𝐫. 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐲'𝐬 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬!
Mr. Pinky arrived at FVHA as a stray. He was hungry, and clearly in pain. He wanted to eat but struggled. X-rays revealed a fractured jaw and damaged teeth, making even the smallest movements incredibly painful. After attending to his teeth and jaw, Mr. Pinky was able to heal in a foster home, and then found a loving adoptive home!
His adopter shared an update on Mr. Pinky with us!
"He very quickly took to our home showing interest to explore within the first day. We separated him and our other cat as advised for the first few days but they showed interest extremely fast without aggression so we did supervised visits within the first week. Fast forward to the next week and they were already playing. Currently they sleep together play together eat together groom each other etc.
Mr. Pinky loves to explore. We’ve been taking him on drives and introducing him to a leash harness.
Our girl having no teeth and him with the jaw issue we have them on the same diet, a hard food that gets soaked and drained in warm water a bit then mixed with a topping of wet foods like beef, chicken, salmon, turkey etc. He’s of course loving this and took to scheduled feeding times quickly."
