๐๐๐!
This week, our team made the trip to pick up these dogs from Dane County Humane Society, which has been working alongside shelters and rescue organizations across Wisconsin to help place animals from this situation.
๐ผ While we're excited to have them here, these beagles are not currently available for adoption, and we do not yet know when they will be. Please keep an eye on our website and social media for updates as they progress and eventually become available.
๐ผ These dogs have a lot of learning and healing ahead of them. Many of the beagles coming from this situation have never experienced life in a home and may not be familiar with things most dogs take for granted. They are not potty trained, may be fearful of new people and environments, and will need patient, understanding adopters willing to help them build confidence and trust at their own pace.
Some of these beagles may spend time in foster homes as they begin adjusting to life outside of a breeding facility and learn what it means to simply be a dog.
When the time comes, we will be looking for the right homes, not just the first homes. Thank you for your patience as our staff and volunteers work to give these deserving dogs the care, support, and fresh start they need.
Stay tuned for updates on their journey!
