The Fox Valley Humane Association is a full-service, state-of-the-art animal shelter and animal resource center, serving thousands of pets and their people each year since 1891. FVHA remains an area leader in animal care, adoptions, welfare, and education and works 24/7 to see that no animal need in the Fox Valley goes unmet. FVHA is a locally-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on saving lives and offers a variety of services, programs, and events to the community in addition to a safe haven for companion animals.

He was surrendered to FVHA due to a landlord that did not allow their tenants to have pet rodents.

Odin is seeking a home to enjoy his senior years! He may have a silver face, but his heart is pure gold!

💖 8 year old neutered male.
💖 Loves people and thrives on gentle affection. Appreciates a relaxed pace, enjoying short walks and playing with toys.
💖 Like many older dogs Odin has arthritis. He will likely need lifelong medication to manage his pain and keep him comfortable.
💖 May do well living with other dogs if they are introduced slowly and thoughtfully.

Odin is looking for a loving home where he can take it easy, get lots of affection, and spend his golden years surrounding you with companionship.

🧀 Cheese is seeking a pet-free home, living with other animals in the past has caused stress related behaviors.
🧀 He is currently on a specialized urinary dry food diet for urinary health support.

Saturday was a heartwarming success!

On October 24th we hosted our Subaru Loves Pets adoption event in partnership with Gustman Subaru.

Two of our long term foster dogs will be at our adoption event tomorrow ready to meet you!

☘️ Opie is a 10 year old herding dog mix that is easy going and cuddly, and loves children! He came to FVHA after his guardian passed away.

🥤Dr. Pepper is a 2.5 year old mixed breed, he is shy and prefers dog friends to human ones! He would love to join a pack of social dogs.

Our Subaru Loves Pets Adoption Event is tomorrow from 10am to 3pm! This event is being held in partnership with Gustman Subaru.

The event will be held at Fox Valley Humane located at N115 Two Mile Road in Appleton, WI!

Adoption fees for all adoptable pets will be waived for this event! Join us tomorrow to find your new best friend.

If you have been searching for an adorable piggie friend, we have plenty of cuties to choose from!

𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐲𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐚 𝐩𝐢𝐠𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐚 𝐩𝐢𝐠𝐬. Since they had not been kept separately, the five female piggies are currently on pregnancy watch.

Did you know: Female guinea pigs are pregnant for 65 days, and babies are born as fully developed, miniature versions of their parents rather than blind and hairless like other rodents?
