Our chunky little puppies are almost 4 weeks old!! Everyone is doing AMAZING ♡ 1 more month and they will be ready to find homes of their own♡♡

Mama Nala has been AMAZING and takes such great care of her babies.and their amazing foster mom owns Kaukauna Coffee & Tea (make sure to support local businesses)

Wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated off the wish list so far.

We have created an Amazon wish list for Nala and her puppies. We are in need of some supplies.

And we are raising funds for vetting. We will be taking care of all Nalas vet needs as well as the 7 puppies (figure $300+ each x 8= $2400 minimum)

HEY EVERYONE!

My heart strings were pulled with this one.
As most of you know my mastiff Nahla passed away in December.
So when I got a frantic call from a good Samaritan who needed help with a female Shephard named NALA that she took in not knowing she was pregnant, i knew we had to jump into action.

Hey everyone tomorrow is the big surgery day for some of the pups!!

SPAY DAY is March 25th for Woof Lodge & Rescue ♡ we have 4 pups getting spayed and 1 having an eye surgery ♡♡

We definitely had unexpected costs jump in this weekend.

New battery for the transport bus: $139
Oil change: $50

Plus factoring in gas prices... it's been a week 🤣

Yall .....

Today officially marks 9 YEARS since I started Woof Lodge & Rescue !!

And omg what a whirlwind it's been!!
Starting the rescue on a crazy whim and looking at what it's become is an emotional Rollercoaster for me.

When I started I was 25 yr old single mom. Suffering from severe ptsd , anxiety and struggling with every aspect of my life. I wanted to do something that made a difference and that my kids could be proud of and look up to me for. And I think that I can say that I've done that.

In the last 9 years we have rescued over 5000 dogs. Now I know that number is small compared to higher scale rescues, but im so beyond proud. The ammount of lives impacted. Saved. Changed honestly brings tears to my eyes.

I know that we have been very limited with our intake and ability to take in alot of dogs all at once these last couple years. But I have big plans coming up and There are so many more lives to save ♡

Im hoping to raise $900 this month to put in our vet/fees account. ($100/year we have been open)

Each month we have expenses that I pay out of pocket at my own expense.

We have insurance- $150/mth
We have a storage unit- $100/mth
And any vehicle maintenance on the bus/gas that's needed. .
In addition to that we have the always rising vet costs, food costs and supply costs for all of the dogs.

I absolutely love what I do and could not do it without the support and love ive had from all of you throughout the years.

The last 9 years hasn't always been rainbows and sunshine. There has been ALOT of hurtles. But at the end of the day when I see the difference we have made (i say WE because it takes a village) it makes every single step of the way worth it ♡♡

Woof Lodge & Rescue now has an option where you can make a 1 time donation OR you can set up monthly or annual donations ♡

Average monthly costs definitely take a toll. Here is a breakdown on what we usually end up using donations for or paying out of pocket each month:

Storage unit: $100/mth
Insurance: $60/mth
Dog food: $100-300/mth
Vet bills: $200-1200 (sometimes more when we take in the special cases)
Miscellaneous items( toys, dewormer, any extra things): $50-100/mth
Gas: $50-100/mth

These sweet girls are amazing ♡ they definitely were not getting the proper nutrients. Hence the hair loss. And we have to fully vet them. Our rescue account is on E. They were just dropped off at my house as an emergency intake...

I am in need of fosters (either 1 person takes both or they are old enough to be seperated) asap!!
