Join us in welcoming Dr. Shaelyn Dobrzynski to the Daisy Mountain team in her new full time position

“Dr. Shaelyn is originally from the metro Detroit area. From a young age, she was surrounded by a variety of “pocket pets” and quickly developed a deep love for animals. Her first experience visiting a veterinarian was with her two ferrets, Tia and Tamara — an experience that sparked her lifelong dream of becoming a small animal veterinarian.

That dream became a reality when she earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, she returned to Mid-Michigan, where she practiced for 11 years, providing compassionate care to countless pets and their families.

A cross-country road trip in 2021 inspired her love for the Southwest. In early 2023, Dr. Shaelyn and her family relocated to Hurricane, Utah, where she practiced for a year and a half before settling in the Phoenix area at the end of 2024. While working relief at Daisy Mountain Veterinary Hospital, she quickly fell in love with the patients, clients, and team — and is now honored to call Daisy Mountain Veterinary Hospital home.

When she’s not caring for her patients, Dr. Shaelyn enjoys attending barre classes and going off-roading with her husband. At home, she’s a proud cat mom to Harmony, Skylar, Melody, and Kenzie.”
