I’m kicking off this series with one I hear ALL. THE. TIME:

“But they listen perfectly at home!”

Spoiler alert: that doesn’t count.

If your dog is an absolute obedience superstar in your living room but suddenly develops selective hearing the second you step outside… we have some work to do.

Because knowing a behavior in one environment ≠ knowing it everywhere.

So buckle up. I’ve got opinions.
Some might make you laugh.
Some might make you rethink how you train.
And a few might p**s you off. 😂

Apparently it’s National Dog Day… but around here, that’s basically every day. 😂

Being surrounded by dogs for a living means every day comes with muddy paws, questionable decisions, training wins, and approximately 47 conversations with dogs that they absolutely do not answer.

We wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️

I received very sad news this week that one of our pack friends passed away.
When I work with your dogs they truly become a part of my pack and I hold them in my heart forever. Even when yall move away like Zeke and his family did. So my heart broke when Zeke’s owner contacted me to give me the news. The loss of a pet is always hard but I always like to think of how blessed they were to have had a family that loved them until the very end. And how blessed are we that we were loved so unconditionally. Thank you to Zeke’s family for allowing us to be even a small part of his life. See you over the bridge one day buddy. Save us a spot and a snuggle ♥️
