🎓 CONGRATULATIONS, KODA! 🎓
After almost 5 weeks of training, Koda is officially a Gen1 K9 graduate! His journey is one so many reactive dog owners can relate to.
Reactivity isn’t about a “bad dog.” It’s often rooted in fear, lack of confidence, or unmet needs. During Koda’s time with us, we worked on showing him that strangers don’t automatically mean danger, and we began building the skills needed to navigate other dogs on walks in a calmer, more thoughtful way.
Just as importantly, Koda’s owners learned how to:
• meet his physical and mental needs
• read his body language sooner
• advocate for him in real-world situations
• build confidence instead of forcing exposure
Progress with reactive dogs is not linear. There will be good days and hard days, and both are part of the process. Success isn’t walking past every dog perfectly; it’s having the tools and knowledge to recover, reset, and keep moving forward together.
We’re so proud of this team and excited to continue supporting them as they grow, learn, and gain confidence together.
If you have a reactive dog, you’re not failing. You’re learning. And your dog is too. 🐕
