We’re Drowning — Please, We Need You Now More Than Ever
We are exhausted, overwhelmed, and heartbroken. We’re trying so hard to fully close down, but life just keeps throwing more at us than we can handle.
Our senior bunnies are declining rapidly. We’ve already had to say goodbye to some of our oldest loves, and each one breaks us a little more. And just this week, we’ve had emergency vet visits that we didn’t see coming—and absolutely couldn’t afford.
On top of that, people are still dropping off bunnies without our permission, sometimes wild ones, sometimes when we’re not even home. We are closed. We’ve said it over and over. But the doorbell still rings, and the messages still come. And somehow, even in the middle of shutting down, we’re still having to stretch ourselves thin for bunnies that keep coming.
We’re doing our best to get the remaining buns safely placed, but everyone we’ve reached out to is also full and overwhelmed. This isn’t easy. None of this is.
I’m so sorry to beg, but I have no other choice.
We are getting a few donations here and there, and we are beyond grateful for every single one. But the truth is—they aren’t enough to keep up with what’s going out. We’re drowning.
