We have four very nice 2 and 3 year old Draftcross prospects in our pipeline to be started this summer. With a number of training and consignment horses on the list as well, we’d consider parting with one or a few to the right fit to continue their eduction.
💛 Sandman - 3 year old ranch bred Draftx dappled palomino gelding, currently 15.2 to finish 16.1. Extremely nice type, kind, willing, easy. A confident amateur could start him undersaddle, he has bee saddled and is going through the fundamentals, highly desensitized and does all the important things: load, lead, tie, lunge, cross tie for farrier, great for vet, kids safe to handle.
♥️ Cruze - 2 year old liver chestnut with white blanket Belgian/App Draftx gelding, should finish around 16h. Has been with us and well handled since weaning. 30 days on concentrated groundwork December - January. Regular farrier care, trims every 5-6 weeks, excellent feet. UTD on all vet/dental, does all the important things. We see him excelling as a 2nd/3rd flight foxhunter, trail riding, western dressage, all around type. He’s brave, curious and kind, easy to be around. Amatuer friendly to start. Currently 6.5k
🩶 Monty - 2 year old Draftx (Percheron/App) dappled gray gelding, should finish close to 17h, maybe bigger. Great bone and feet, well put together and the right amount of athletic. We acquired Monty and Cruze together as weanlings and they’ve been through the same 30 day intensive program December-January. We see him as a foxhunting prospect for all flights, dabble in any show ring, trail ride, a great all around horse as well. Amateur friendly to start. Currently 7.5k
🖤 Onyx - 2 year old Shire Draftx mare from the Wowk Ranch in Canada. She leads, ties, and you can groom her. Other than that she’s a blank slate, we haven’t had much time to get to her since we acquired her in early spring this year. Onyx is sensitive, responsive, curious but also unsure. She’s a prospect for professional only. 5k firm
We have plenty of pictures and videos of these kids, let us know if you have any questions.
