With a solid foundation in safety and genuine horsemanship, we have built an educational environment that produces solid horses and riders. We offer a dynamic team of professionals, Tatiana Baber, Lisa Hunt and Shelby Rader. Tatiana has years of experience teaching beginner lessons, and is passionate about giving riders a well rounded platform to serve as the foundation to their equine goals. She
is currently finishing her Masters Degree in Counseling, and plans to integrate her love for people and horses in her feature endeavors. Tatiana also assists in working with training horses and weekly tasks around the farm. One of our most precious hidden treasures is Lisa. She is an amazing caretaker of our herd and cares deeply about the horses and people alike. Lisa is currently finishing her certification as an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning through PATH, Int’l. She has a lifetime of horse experience that serves as a launching pad for not only herd management, but riding and working with horses as well. As a former western coach for two colleges, Shelby loves teaching riding and advancing horses. and Canada and taught lessons and trained horses of many breeds and disciplines. Shelby is also an active participant in the Certified Horsemanship Association. This one is extra special… we bred his mom and his dad and so he feels a little like a grandkid 😂
Meet Pretzel 🥨
He is the kindest, sweetest, friendliest little feller you ever did meet. He checks all the boxes on what we have aimed to create in terms of temperament - and he is so darn cute!

We have been blessed with some beautiful calves this spring!
Today’s introduction goes to little Mocha ☕️
If you are noticing a trend - then you might already know that every year we pick a theme for naming calves, and this year it is food. It’s so fun to think of names, and an added bonus is you know by their name what year they were born 🙌🏼

Country Meadow Farm is a family owned farm with a solid foundation in safety and genuine horsemanship. We have built an educational environment that produces solid horses and riders. In addition to offering riding lessons and training, we are also home t0 the non-profit organization, Heaven Touching Earth. This organization allows us to offer equine assisted therapy and learning, as well as child and adult programs. Our heart is to offer those who come a little piece of “heaven touching earth” every time they step foot on the farm. We want to reflect the heart of God through relationships with horses and people. Please visit the Heaven Touching Earth page to learn more!
We offer a dynamic team of instructors, Haley Alger and Shelby (Turner) Rader.
Haley served as CMF's intern for over a year before being offered a position at Sweet Briar College Riding Center as their East Wing Captain. Now pursuing her license as a message therapist, Haley continues to teach the beginner and intermediate lessons at CMF.
