We will keep saying it over and over…

Even though we ache that there was a loss for someone who loved each horse we have the chance to learn from- it’s still an unmatched learning experience to see a dissection.

We attended our third dissection opportunity in the last 4 months. Learning in real 3D anatomy is as accurate as you can get.

The bonus is that no two dissections are ever the same, so the learning is never duplicated. East Coast Horseshoeing School put on another fantastic dissection with over 60 people in attendance.

It was led and taught by Certified Journeyman Farrier, Matt Grimm. Matt is such a tremendous teacher and we are always grateful to learn from his expertise and experience.

Check out this before after photo…

➡️ One of the things we go over during an appointment is what your horse is eating, as well as what supplements and medications they are on

The bottom photo was my initial assessment and the top photo was about two months later.

ONE change in this horse’s diet resulted in topline being built and his overall body score improving!!!

Are you ready to optimize your horse’s performance?

Let’s get something scheduled and develop a plan for you and your horse 💪🏼

⏱️ Closing Out 2025

As the final day of the year comes to a close, we find ourselves pausing—not just to look back, but to look ahead with intention.

2025 has been a year of growth, deep learning, quiet refinement, and countless moments where we have seen God’s hand at work. We’re profoundly grateful for the horses who trusted us, the owners who invited us into their barns and stories, and the lessons that only come through listening closely and staying humble in the process.

God has been faithful—guiding steps, opening doors at the right time, and shaping Ruach Equine in ways we couldn’t have planned on our own. We’ve been reminded again and again that excellence, stewardship, and service are never wasted.

As we step toward a new year, there is a sense of anticipation. Seeds have been planted. Conversations have been unfolding. New perspectives, skills, and pathways are taking shape—quietly, intentionally—with the same heart: to better advocate for the horse.

We are entering the new year focused, prayerful, and expectant. Committed to continued education. Committed to growth. Committed to doing this work with integrity, curiosity, and reverence for the incredible design of the horse.

Thank you for being part of this journey.
Here’s to what’s coming—guided, prepared, and purpose-driven.

✨ Let’s Talk Fascia ✨

Fascia is one of the most overlooked—and most important—systems in your horse’s body.

Think of fascia like the white part of an orange. 🍊
It’s the thin, connective layer just under the peel… but it also wraps around every single slice inside. You can’t remove one part without affecting the whole.

In your horse, fascia works the same way.
It’s a continuous web of connective tissue that lies beneath the skin, surrounds muscles, organs, nerves, and even bones. Fascia helps transmit movement, absorb shock, maintain posture, and allow the body to move fluidly and efficiently.

When fascia is healthy, it’s hydrated, elastic, and responsive. When it becomes restricted—from injury, repetitive movement, compensation patterns, or stress—it can create tension, limit range of motion, affect performance, and even contribute to behavioral changes.

✨ This is where equine bodywork comes in. ✨

Skilled bodywork doesn’t just address muscles—it influences the fascia that connects everything. Through intentional, specific touch, we encourage fascia to soften, rehydrate, and release restrictions, allowing the horse’s entire system to reorganize into better balance and comfort.

The result?
• Improved movement and flexibility
• Better posture and performance
• Increased comfort and relaxation
• A horse that feels more at ease in their body

At Ruach Equine, bodywork is about listening to the horse, honoring the whole system, and creating space for the body to heal and function as it was designed to.

📩 If your horse feels tight, inconsistent, or “just not quite right,” perhaps we can help.

Reach out today to schedule a bodywork session and support your horse from the inside out.

🔶Professional Western Performance Saddle Fitting 🌵

A saddle is more than tack—it’s a major piece of communication between horse and rider.

If you’re wondering whether your western performance saddle truly supports your horse’s body, movement, and longevity, I’d love to start that conversation with you.

I’ve created a saddle fitting inquiry form as a first step. This allows me to:
✔️ Learn more about your horse, discipline, and goals
✔️ Understand current challenges or concerns
✔️ Open a thoughtful, personalized conversation about your needs

This form is not a commitment—it’s simply a way to connect and make sure you and your horse are supported with intention and professionalism.

👉 Fill out the inquiry form here: https://forms.gle/4xgs4XLb96cWYm7j8

Because when the saddle fits well, the horse can move, breathe, and perform as they were designed!
