Update on Coco Chanel ❤️🐾

Many of you have been following Coco Chanel’s story, and we wanted to share an update.

Coco had her veterinary appointment and X-rays. The veterinarian believes she is suffering from Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), a painful condition where the discs between the vertebrae press on the spinal cord. This condition is unfortunately common in Dachshunds because of their long backs and short legs.

The good news is that Coco still has some movement and reflexes, and we are hopeful she may continue to improve with the proper care and treatment. She has shown so much strength and determination, and we are committed to giving her every chance possible.

Her diagnostics and ongoing medical care are expensive, and we’re asking for your help. If you would like to support Coco Chanel’s journey, any donation—no matter the amount—will go directly toward her veterinary care. If you’re unable to donate, sharing her story means just as much.
