Great job K9 Mac!

K9 CAPTURE | This week, we want to recognize K9 Mac and Officer Mesch, who recently teamed up with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office to help track down an armed suspect who tried to flee on foot. With his powerful nose and sharp instincts, Mac located the suspect hiding in thick brush—along with the weapon. Thanks to Mac’s hard work, the suspect surrendered peacefully and was taken into custody without incident. K9s like Mac are not only incredible locating tools. They’re also critical for de-escalation, helping resolve high-risk situations safely. After a job well done, Mac sends a tail wag of thanks to the community member who offered him water.

Adopted 4/25/25
Speckles needs a home. Her senior owner has moved to a retirement home and there is not enough space for her. She is a 4yr old Great Dane. Spayed and vaccinated. Loves people! Grew up with other dogs and cats. She still acts like a puppy. She will need socialization and to learn leash manners. We have discovered that due to her lack of socialization that she is dog reactive. If you are interested in adopting Speckles please call the hospital and ask for Michelle.
