Couple reminders:

• We are buying mature (3 1/2 and older) capes if you don’t plan to shoulder mount. Good ears, no large defects & no splits up the brisket. Bring one in and get cash or credit on a European mount.

• If you shoot a possible shoulder mount, cut carefully! Don’t split higher than the bottom of the ribcage to ensure your cape is usable for mounting.

• Hides spoil just as fast if not faster than meat. It’s important to cape out your deer shortly after shooting (preferably 24 hours or less). See our page for a video on how to cape your deer to get it in the freezer ASAP if you can’t bring it in to us right away.
