🎣 Throwback Thursday 🎣

Throwing it back to this awesome walleye! There’s nothing quite like the excitement of feeling that fish hit and finally getting it in the net.

Days like this are why we keep coming back to the water.

What’s your favorite walleye memory? Share a photo of your biggest catch in the comments—I’d love to see it!

Another perch skin mount on the drying table! 🎣

One more step closer to becoming a finished piece that will last a lifetime. Every fish gets the time and attention it deserves—from prep work to painting and the final finish.

If you’ve got a trophy fish in the freezer or are thinking about preserving your next catch, I’d love to help.

Question for everyone: If you could have one fish turned into a replica, what species would it be? Drop it in the comments

Well… I wasn’t the Powerball winner. 😅

Guess it’s back to work I go! Dreams are free, but hard work still pays the bills.

Maybe next drawing! 🎣💪

Who’s playing Powerball tonight? 💰🎟️

If you hit the jackpot, what’s the first shop you’re building?

I’m thinking a dream taxidermy shop with plenty of room for fish molding, a dedicated paint booth, a trophy showroom, and enough space that I’m not tripping over projects anymore. 😆

And one more question… would you hire your own taxidermist, or would you still do all the work yourself? 🤔

Let’s hear your plans in the comments! 👇

Molding and casting a walleye head—capturing every detail, one step at a time.

Thinking about upgrading my bandsaw in the shop. I’m looking at a Grizzly with the 6-inch riser/adapter.

If you have one, I’d love to hear your thoughts. What do you like, and is there anything you’d do differently? Let me know in the comments!

Happy Sunday!

Today is all about shop cleaning and getting everything organized. A clean shop makes for a productive week, and there’s always something that needs put back in its place.

What’s everyone else up to today? Spending time with family, out fishing, getting ready for the work week, or tackling projects around the house?

Have a great Sunday and enjoy the day!

No subscriptions here… just fans done the taxidermy way! 😄

Another turkey fan taking shape in the shop. Every fan mount is carefully cleaned, preserved, and finished to create a lasting reminder of a successful hunt.

Thanks to everyone who trusts Braman’s Taxidermy with their memories!

Looking for a nice smallmouth bass locally or within Iowa.

I’m looking for a legal-size smallmouth bass that I can use to make a mold for future replica work.

If you catch one and are willing to help out, I’d love to work out a deal with you. Feel free to send me a message if you’re interested or know someone who might be!

Thanks for the support!
