The Legacy Litter — 4 Week Portraits 🥰

I genuinely love making these little portraits because they may feel like “just puppy pictures” right now, but as our dogs get older, these are the kinds of photos that become priceless. I would give anything to have portraits like these of my old lady when she was this tiny. 😣❤️ That’s why I like taking the time to make each puppy’s portrait a little more polished and special — something their future families can save, print, frame, and look back on years from now.

Of course, there are always plenty of livestreams and everyday photos for all the real-life puppy chaos in between. 😂 Devotion • Destiny • Atlas • Invicta • Credence • Ever • Legacy • Echo — four weeks old already. 🥹

Four down, four to go! 🧬🐾

We are SO excited that the first four Embark results from our Legacy Litter are already in! All four are confirmed ½ Papillon, and now we’re just waiting for the lab to confirm which Pap is each pup’s sire.

And check out those estimated adult sizes! 😍

❤️ Atlas — 22 lbs

At this rate, we should have the rest of the litter’s results by the end of the week!

Would you use Ebonheart for boarding or daycare this winter? 🐾

We had to significantly limit our availability during the school semester, but we'd love to open our hours back up this winter!

Before making any changes, we're trying to get a realistic idea of how much demand there would be from our current and past clients.

If you'd be interested in boarding or daycare this winter, please let us know! We'd especially love to hear roughly how often you think you'd use us—even if it's just occasionally.

Our first LIVE watching the Legacy Litter actually PLAY! 🥹🐾💕

They’re officially entering that ridiculously fun stage where those tiny personalities start coming out — little play bows, puppy wrestling, tail wags, exploring, and figuring out just how much trouble they can get into. 😂

Watching them go from tiny newborn potatoes to actual little dogs never gets old. 🥹

Got their first baths today!

I miss my girl so very much. Those bike runs/rides were one of our favorite things to do together. Cleaned it up today after pulling it out of the garage. None of our others pups are small enough to use it as is, but I could never part with such a moment of some of our happiest memories together. 💔🐾🐶 Miss you baby girl, always and forever.

If you've been following our page this week, you may have noticed that two of our posts attracted some pretty strong opinions about our breeding program. 😅 We've always been open about our goals, and genuine questions are welcome—even from people who don't necessarily agree with us. But we won't bend over backwards trying to prove ourselves to people who have already decided what they think of us.

I spent a lot of my life being put down by people who were supposed to believe in me. I've done a lot of growing, and today I know my worth. I also believe everyone deserves the chance to chase the dreams that matter to them.

Most importantly, we adore dogs. ❤️ Those who know us know just how seriously we take the care and welfare of every dog entrusted to us. We adore the dogs we've raised, and we adore the dogs you trust us to train, board, and care for. Nothing strangers on the internet say will ever change the love we have for our dogs—or the love and care we pour into yours.

We want kind people in our village, and kind people loving our dogs. Those are the people we want surrounding Ebonheart. So whether your dog was born here, trains here, stays here, or you simply enjoy following along—thank you for being part of our village. ❤️

We are SO excited to finally announce that our first BorderPap pairing is happening soon! 🖤✨

This pairing brings together the brains, drive, speed, and partnership we love in sport dogs, while still keeping the affectionate, highly trainable temperament we value so much in our program.

We can’t wait to see what this next chapter brings.
