✨🐾 Celebrating a Decade of Our Pack Leader, Charlie 🐾✨
This Labor Day weekend is extra special—Charlie, Brittany’s silver sable German Shepherd, is celebrating his 10th birthday! 🎉 She got Charlie back in 2015, not knowing then that he would become the very heart of her journey and the dog who started it all.
From the very beginning, Charlie stood out. On their first adventures together—long walks, runs, hikes—he carried himself with confidence and discipline. He was so well-trained and steady that it felt like he was born to lead. That foundation not only made him Brittany’s perfect companion, but also the spark that inspired the vision for Canine Cardio: creating a space where dogs could have the structure, purpose, and enrichment they need to truly thrive.
Charlie isn’t just Brittany’s heart dog—he’s the pack leader. His calm, grounded presence continues to set the tone for every dog who joins our family, showing them what balance and leadership look like.
And how fitting that this Labor Day weekend, we have 6 German Shepherds staying with us. Shepherds, like Charlie, are brilliant, high-drive dogs who need more than just playtime—they need outlets, challenges, and a pack environment to bring out their best selves. That’s exactly why they flourish here.
This philosophy is also why we’re growing beyond daycare and opening a full-service dog gym—so every dog can reach their fullest potential and truly unleash the dog within.
A whole decade of adventures, loyalty, and leadership—Charlie, thank you for being the very first, for inspiring the journey, and for showing us how to mold a beautiful pack. 💙🐾
