"Tree cat" who we are calling
"Paula Bunyan" got a good night's sleep after her tree climbing exploits. We are asking if anyone knows her to let us know. Getting her home safe would be a perfect ending 💜

Update- Despite our efforts Mr.Smith has crossed Rainbow Bridge.

We had an extremely ill kitten brought to us. We have administered fluids and he has been taking formula well. His condition is guarded but this guy has surprised us already so we remain optimistic 💙

🚨 EMERGENCY PLEA FOR HELP 🚨
We never wanted to make this post.
For months, we have stretched every dollar, skipped our own needs, and done everything possible to keep saving animals without asking for more than this community could give. But we can no longer ignore the reality we are facing.
Homer's Helpers Animal Rescue is at one of the most critical points in our history.
We have completely run out of funds.
Right now, we are struggling to cover:
• Food
• Veterinary care
• Emergency medical needs
• Supplies
• Basic daily care for the animals depending on us
Without immediate donations, we do not know how we will continue operating in the coming days.
This is heartbreaking to admit because every animal here matters. Every rescue has a story. Every life in our care was promised safety, love, and a second chance.
Today, we are asking — truly begging — for help.
