Cat rescue can be daunting and exhausting work, but there are always glimmers. Take Van Gogh, he was found as a stray downtown and was saved by some kind folks when he was being attacked by a dog. They managed to save 99% of him!! One of the great joys in this work is seeing a kitty transform from a terrified little creature to one who trusts and feels safe. Watching Van Gogh learning to play is one of those moments. He’s gone from cowering in the corner to chasing toys! We are working on pets and snuggles, but he is progressing every day. With your help, we are able to help more kitties like Van Gogh feel safe. Please consider donating at the link in the comments/bio. Thank you!

🚨 The treats are missing. The cats have questions. Your alibi is “I already fed you.” It’s not looking good.

Welcome to LAW & PAW: Treat Crimes Unit. This , our Nine Lives detectives are inspecting cupboards, questioning humans, and checking the dog’s alibi. Donate to help rescue cats—the investigators cannot work on an empty snack budget. 😼

The evidence so far:
🐾 One empty treat bag.
🐾 Six suspicious cats.
🐾 A human claiming “that’s enough.”
The cats have rejected that testimony.

If you can spare a little, a wish-list gift or donation helps provide food, litter, supplies, and medical care while our detectives wait for homes.
