You’re invited to a “Pawsapalooza”-celebrating one year of Nine Lives Rescue changing cat lives with tattoos, munchies and adoptable kittens hosted by on Sunday, June 28! Meet Pete!! he is the cutest little orange boy about three months old! He was rescued from a feral colony so he’s a little hesitant at first he might even give you a tiny little hiss on first approach, but he folds like a deck of cards as soon as you start giving him scratches! Introducing the sweetest duo-Missy and Minnie! ❤️ these two girls are the perfect pairing, Missy is a beautiful long-haired Siamese, who is as friendly and outgoing as they come! She’s hard to get a good picture of because she’s just wanting all of the love and pets! Minnie is a little more reserved but still a very sweet girl and Missy helps her feel more comfortable and come out of her shell! They are looking for their perfect forever home, and would be a wonderful addition to any family! 🚨Donations needed for emergency medical case🚨

Nine Lives Rescue was recently asked to help with a tough situation where breeding had gotten out of control and there was a large number of Kittens-many of whom were very sick! 😢

While we didn’t have the foster capacity to take on every kitten from this situation. We offered to take on the sickest litter. These photos may be hard to look at, but these babies are in our care now and receiving medical attention! If you swipe to the end of the photos, you can see they are starting to look a little better!

It’s going to be a long road back to health for this little family and their very sweet calico mama! The tiniest calico whose eyes are in the worst shape will likely need surgery! We need your support to provide life-saving care for this family, and hopefully have the capacity/finances to take on more Kittens from this situation!

At Nine Lives Rescue, we recently pulled ringworm-positive kittens from TWO different shelters. And while we absolutely take ringworm seriously and follow proper quarantine and treatment protocols, we also want to help clear up some of the fear surrounding it.

Ringworm is not a deadly disease. It’s a fungal skin infection — the same type of fungus that causes athlete’s foot or jock itch in humans. It can be contagious, yes. It can be inconvenient, yes. But it is treatable, manageable, and most importantly… it does NOT hurt kittens or people!

These babies are playful, happy, loving kittens who deserve a chance to grow up in homes, not lose their lives over a temporary rash.

The stigma around ringworm often leads to perfectly healthy, adoptable animals being overlooked or euthanized simply because treatment takes time and resources.

You can be a ringworm hero by fostering or adopting kittens with ringworm!

How has this gorgeous gray boy not been adopted? Christian is a gorgeous and sleek grey boy who just turned a year old and is looking for his forever home! He’s a little more reserved at first, so it’s easy to overlook him, but don’t sleep on what a great cat he is! He loves to play and enjoys spending time with other kitty friends, and would make a great addition to any household!
