PLR alum Dexter gets his vaccinations from our low-cost clinic. He encourages others to join him. The volunteer who orders, stores and transports our vaccines is very careful about keeping them at the proper temperature, neither too hot nor too cold, at all times. This is Stormy, our hospice foster. She's vaccinated despite her health issues -- and that protection is extra important so she doesn't get a dangerous virus on top of everything. If you have concerns about vaccinations, please talk to your vet or even stop by the clinic to ask our vet partner. (Maybe wait til he has a pause in giving shots.) Don't just assume your pet doesn't need vaccines. It could be the difference between life and death for that animal.

Our December low-cost pet vaccination clinic is coming up in just over two weeks, and registration is open. Vaccinations allow your pets to socialize without passing around deadly diseases like rabies, distemper and parvovirus. Riley and her new friends, Wyatt and Wylie, are vaccinated, so they can safely play til they're ready to relax.

PLR alum Riley had a spa day today! Doesn't she look like a pretty princess?
Her human roomie won the fundraising raffle for the gift certificate the new owners of Arfin' Annie's Pet Salon very generously donated. Riley was nervous, but the groomers were kind and she was a good girl for them. We're told she left tons of fur behind. She must feel lighter, and all ready for Thanksgiving. Thank you to Melissa, Domonic and their team! We're thankful for your kindness.
