About Eggsy:
Eggsy is a 5 month old male American Pitbull Terrier mix. He was surrendered to RT 66 on Easter weekend with a badly broken left front leg that did end up requiring amputation. Eggsy is also entirely DEAF - so he does require more time, patience, and a few extra steps to learn things but he's very smart! Eggsy is a very active pup and is looking for an active family and doggy playmate! He loves to wrestle, play tug, and explore his surroundings. Eggsy wants nothing more than to just be with you/be in eye sight of you - he is a huge lovebug who is stoked to crash out on the couch for cuddles once all his zoomies are out. Eggsy is dog and cat friendly - but as a puppy he is rather exuberant in his greetings so he does require housemates with patience and an owner that can work on his social politeness as he ages. He loves ALL people - there isn't a person he sees that he doesn't want to meet. Eggsy is fully crate trained and sleeps in the crate at night. He is still working on potty training but is making great strides!
Eggsy does have medical conditions that might require more medical care/regular vet visits than other pets. He will need to be on a joint supportive supplement/exercise routine, GI sensitive diet/prescription dog food, and other possible medical needs. He is a happy/healthy pup but just has extra needs. Due to Eggsy being a tri-pod, it is medically recommended that he stays intact/not neutered until he is over the age of 1.5 years old for his joints and growth plates to fully develop - it will be required Eggsy is neutered once he has reached the appropriate age and not used for any breeding/stud work of any kind.
Eggsy is fully vaccinated and will come with toys, a collar and leash, a vibration collar and remote for training, a special supportive harness, and a bag of food!
