Summer’s Almost Here – Let’s Keep Our Pets Safe & Happy!
The sun is shining, and tails are wagging! As the temperatures rise, don’t forget that our 4 legged friends feel the heat too. Here are a few quick summer tips to keep your pets cool and comfortable:
* Hydration is key! Make sure fresh water is always available.
* Paw check! Pavement gets HOT – test with your hand before walks. If it’s too hot for you it’s too hot for your furry friends!
* Never leave pets in parked cars. Even a few minutes can be dangerous.
* Watch for signs of heatstroke: heavy panting, drooling, or lethargy.
