Welcome Julia, our new Licensed Veterinary Technician!

Julia is returning home to Akron after living in Oklahoma and most recently Scotland. She began her career in equine medicine before transitioning to small animal care, and her passion really shines through in her life both professionally and personally.

Julia’s companion on adventures is her dog Blue—who hails from Scotland! Blue says “woof”—and so do we. Welcome aboard!

Akron Animal Hosptal is happy to welcome Dr. Lindsay Edwards to our veterinary team!

Dr. Edwards attended The George Washington University where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science, a major in Biology and double-minor in Psychology and Women’s Studies. She continued her studies at Cornell University College of Veterinary Sciences and graduated with her Doctorate in 2011.

A native of the Rochester area, Dr. Edwards has worked mostly in the Western NY region. Her professional interests include internal medicine, surgery and pharmacology. When she is not at work, she loves crafting, kayaking and community service. She shares her home with four cats (Perrin, Mazikeen, Feyre, Neville) and 2 King Charles Cavalier Spaniels (Sabriel and Sisu).
