Official Statement
In response to the recent events and ongoing harassment occurring online, we feel it is necessary to release an official statement. Despite the seriousness of the situation and the potential legal implications of their actions, certain individuals have chosen to persist, leaving us no choice but to publicly address the matter.
Yes, some of the horses at our facility experienced weight loss over the summer. It was an even and consistent pattern across multiple horses, and at no point were any animals starved or neglected.
After consulting with our veterinarian and conducting our own thorough investigation, we determined that the cause was linked to the feed we had been using. As responsible farm owners, we immediately adjusted individual grain rations and made the decision to switch to a different feed line. Our research and professional guidance made it clear that the quality of the previous feed had declined, and we acted promptly on that information.
Since implementing these changes, every horse has returned to ideal condition, and all are now thriving beautifully.
The malicious actions and false claims spread by certain individuals have caused us harm beyond what we could have imagined. However, we remain committed to transparency and to the well-being of our horses above all else.
