“Fauna Material” marks the first collaborative print by artists Add Fuel (Cascais, Portugal) and PichiAvo (Valencia, Spain). This piece unites their creative languages, blending the timeless presence of classical art - embodied in the mythological figure of the faun - with the refined beauty of traditional Portuguese tilework, which forms the backdrop of the composition.

Each print comes with a flashlight that reveals UV ink glowing under the black light, revealing tags and details.

Join us for the opening of “Memória Material”. Not a collective exhibition, but a creative alliance between and at Underdogs Gallery in Lisbon.

While Add Fuel has built a remarkable body of work that revisits the tradition of Portuguese azulejos, the Spanish duo PichiAvo echoes Greco-Roman mythology through an international multidisciplinary practice that extends into the urban realm. “Memória Material” is the result of a challenge proposed by Underdogs Gallery, encouraging them to combine their worlds. Add Fuel ventured into painting. PichiAvo experimented with tiles.

This release marks Underdogs’ first-ever collaboration with Tristan Eaton, a true icon of contemporary pop and street art. From creating large-scale murals around the world — including on the façade of MoCA in Los Angeles — to being included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art, Eaton’s career spans decades of boundary-pushing creativity. Known for his explosive compositions and layered techniques, he brings his own distinct visual language to this stunning new edition.

“SOUS” is a deep dive into the tension between surface and depth, beauty and construction. Fusing digital printing with eight rich layers of screenprint, a work that pulses with complexity and precision.

In BRINCAR com letras grandes, Ana Malta creates a vibrant, chaotic composition filled with childhood symbols, layered textures, and a sharp question — “Plena mente?” — challenging the ways we hide honesty behind humour.

With Reversed Warthog, Diogo Potes brings us a monster that’s more fun than frightening. Influenced by punk and skate culture, this colourful creature embraces rebellion, energy, and visual chaos with a wink.

This marks our first collaboration with Mundano, and we’re truly proud to work with an artist whose practice so powerfully merges environmental activism with contemporary art. This edition offers a unique opportunity to connect with one of the most compelling voices in climate-focused art today.

Created using LixoGravura, a printmaking technique developed by the artist, each work is made from 100% discarded materials – from handcrafted paper (80% recycled paper, 20% cigarette butts) to pigments extracted from Amazon forest ash, toxic mud, urban rubble, and more. Every element tells a story of destruction transformed into defiance.

The image – a self-portrait of the artist spray-painting the recycling symbol – is as much personal as it is political. A quiet, striking act of hope and reflection.

Today is Freedom Day in Portugal, as we celebrate the revolution that took place on April 25, 1974, marking the end of the longest fascist dictatorship in modern European history.

To commemorate the occasion, we’ve selected three Public Art Projects that evoke and pay tribute to this historic date:

- Mural at Rua Natália Correia 11, created by Shepard Fairey in 2017 and later restored and altered by the artist in 2023
- Mural at Avenida de Berna 26C, created by Portuguese artists Mariana Malhão, Moami, Petra.Preta, and Tamara Alves
- Jardim da Liberdade (Freedom Garden), in Santarém, created by Pedrita Studio
