Conceived from a large tile-inspired composition, “Calçada da Estrela” edition by is presented as a series of 49 unique artworks.

No two pieces are the same.

Individually handsigned by the artist, the editions reflects Manuela Pimentel’s ongoing exploration of how urban surfaces accumulate histories, meanings, and new forms over time.

Created using acrylic paint and varnish on reclaimed street posters, each work preserves the textures, colours, and traces of the urban landscape while drawing on the visual language of Portuguese tiles.

This month is the last chance to visit 's exhibition “Eis-me, sou uma poeta, irei ao entardecer”, on view until August 15!

From August 16-31, Underdogs will be on its annual summer break.

At first glance, familiar Portuguese tiles. Look closer, and they dissolve into torn paper, fragmented typography, and traces of other images.

Working from weathered street posters, Manuela Pimentel turns the city's most ephemeral material into a body of work where nothing is quite what it seems, and every piece invites its own reading.

In "Blue Bull", Joram Roukes transforms an original painting into a hand-finished edition where a blue bull, a red doberman, and a small perch enter into an uneasy dialogue, inviting multiple interpretations around perspective, symbolism, and masculinity.

Based on his original painting “Blue Bull”, ' new edition centres on a blue bull, a red doberman, and a small perch, brought together in a composition that seems to shift with every glance.

Through altered backgrounds, screenprinted layers, and hand-finished interventions, the artist reimagines the relationship between these three figures, heightening the tension between them while introducing a calmer, more balanced visual language. The result is an image that invites multiple readings, where perspective remains open and meaning is never fixed.

Based on a photograph taken by in the Kyiv metro, this new edition depicts two boys watching a television programme while sheltering underground in one of the city’s bomb shelters.

What first appears to be an ordinary moment gradually reveals the realities of life during war. Through subtle blurring, Magee transforms the image into a reflection on fragility, resilience, and the uncertainty that lies beneath everyday experience.
