Did you know? 🤔 National Heroes Day doesn’t honor just one hero? It celebrates all Filipino heroes, known and unknown!
But here’s the lesser-known part:
🔍 The original date of National Heroes Day was set in 1931…
but it wasn’t fixed to August back then!
👉 It was initially celebrated on November 30, the same day as Bonifacio Day.
It was only in 2007 that it was officially moved to the last Monday of August to give everyone a long weekend while still commemorating all Filipino heroes
