🥇 Ramblin Rover does best & scores his 2nd win for the stable.

🙌🏼 Finally getting a half decent draw & run made all the difference, after sitting 3 fence once finally in the clear he was able to rocket up the passing lane and sore reasonably easily in the finish!

📍 Take two of racing at Winton for the Southern Surge Finals with JJ & Rover tomorrow.

💭 Nice effort last start, 3 wide for the last lap & wide turning for home, tried really hard for 4th. Also had the fastest splits in the race. Terrible draw in a big feild so will be needing some luck but definitely a top 4 chance.

💭 Getting absolutely no luck recently but continuing to go good races. She also had the quickest closing splits in her race, unfortunately again over the mile with another terrible draw so will be needing to find some luck hopefully!but also definitely not without top 4 chance.

💭 Very pleased with her effort last start after working overtime for the whole first lap, she stuck on bravely. She’s up against it drawing the outside of the front line but she’s also happy & well & with some luck can give some cheek.

🥇 Congratulations to Sam Payne who Purchased ‘Makani’ or better known as Jimmy around the stables during his 2024 Yearling Sales Prep. Picking up his first win on Friday night at Addington, he looks to have a promising future once he figures out what racing is all about!

SBSR MAKANI is a winner!
Displaying superb manners at Addington Raceway the MAJESTIC SON gelding showed the talent connections knew he had.

The bloodline running hot with his dam HAWAIIAN HULA being a half sister to top-class trotter GUS.

Breeder Mark Hurrell offered him through the 2024 National Yearling Sales through the SBSR draft of Chelsea Faithful.

🐴 Ramblin Rover put his best foot forward courtesy of a perfect drive from Wilson in the Junior Drivers race picking up a nice penalty free win in a sharp time for that grade of 1.56.2 for the mile. Happy new owners!

🐴 Hijack also brought his manners today for a perfect New Zealand debut, leading out easily from 8 he soon controlled the race before getting home nicely to win easily in the end. A very pleasing result for both horse, owner & trainer!!
