Here's the board from our Gore Smallies clinic today.

Take a look at the names and see how many breeds you can match to them! 🐶🐱

Is a "Buddy" always a Labrador? Is "Luna" secretly a cat? 🤔

Drop your guesses in the comments and let us know which names give away the breed... and which ones completely surprise you!

Let's see who can get the closest! 👇🐾

Puppy Pre-School: Class of October 2026 🎓🐶

How cute are these three recent graduates? 💚

We run regular Puppy School classes right here in Gore with our amazing nurse Jordyn. It’s a fun way for puppies to make new friends, build confidence and get comfortable with the sights, sounds and smells of the vet clinic - helping make future visits feel a little less daunting.

And it’s not just the puppies who learn! You’ll pick up plenty of practical tips to help set your puppy up for success, meet some of our vets and even head behind the scenes for a clinic tour. 🐕✨

Celebrating Vet Nurses & Vet Techs 💙

This Vet Nurse & Vet Tech Week, we'd like to recognise the amazing people who make such an important contribution to animal health every day.

From the clinic to the farm gate, VetSouth's vet nurses and vet techs bring knowledge, dedication, and compassion to every interaction. Their work supports not only the animals in their care, but also the families, farmers, and communities who depend on them.

Thank you for the care you provide, the challenges you take on, and the difference you make every day.
