In our rural communities, we're strongest when we stick together.

This Mental Health Awareness Week is a reminder that a chat over a coffee, a helping hand, or a simple "how are you going?" can mean more than you think.

Be kind. Check in. Look after your mates.

Make room for Someone

Being included matters.

Invite someone along. Save them a seat. Include a new person or someone you haven’t seen for a while.

It might feel like a small thing, but being welcomed in can make it much easier to feel part of a community.

Mental Health Awareness Week is led by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand . Find out more and access MHAW resources through the Mental Health Foundation.

Celebrating Vet Nurses & Vet Techs 💙

This Vet Nurse & Vet Tech Week, we'd like to recognise the amazing people who make such an important contribution to animal health every day.

From the clinic to the farm gate, VetSouth's vet nurses and vet techs bring knowledge, dedication, and compassion to every interaction. Their work supports not only the animals in their care, but also the families, farmers, and communities who depend on them.

Thank you for the care you provide, the challenges you take on, and the difference you make every day.
