Storm, Rain & Mystery are in loving homes. 💗

🐶✨ Five beautiful rescue dogs with five unique rescue stories! ✨🐶

All of these boys and girl are looking for very special forever homes. They’ve had tough starts to their lives and they deserve so much better. 💔💖

🐾 Mystery went out on an adoption trial, but sadly he came back because the other dog that spends a lot of time at the property just didn’t accept him… even though he’s such a nice dude.
🐾 Zeus was also returned from his trial because he just didn’t fit in with the adopter’s routine.
🐾 Finn was saved from euthanasia earlier in the year. He’s lost some weight and is thriving! A happy, life-loving boy!
🐾 The two Heading x pups were saved at the vet just yesterday from euthanasia! ❤️‍🩹

We really need to make sure these guys find their forever homes soon as there are others that need us. 🏡💙

🙏 Let’s find them homes that will truly love them for who they are. Please consider adopting a rescue dog… you won’t regret it! 🐕💛

All five are currently in the same foster home with the most amazing foster mum. She runs a dog physio, takes them on daily swims and adventures, and gives them the best life she can but they’re ready to begin their forever chapter. 📖💞

We need to make room for more pups, so this incredible foster mum can keep saving lives. 🐾💫

Hey hey heeeey it’s me, Zoe!

I’m a young pup, about 4 months old and I’ve already been through so much in my short life. I was rescued from a very vulnerable community… my full story would break your heart, but what matters most is that I’m a true survivor. 💪🐶

Now, I’m safe and happy in my foster home, living with both fur siblings and little skin siblings. I feel so protected and I have so much gratitude. Life feels so good now and I know how lucky I am. Other pups are not quite as lucky as me. 🥹

I’d love to find my forever family. 💕 My foster mum says I’m super loving, chilled, a good listener and would make an amazing furever companion.

Hi wonderful followers,

You are all amazing at coming together in times of need. Right now, there’s a very special woman in our community who dedicates her life to caring for the cats that no one else wants… the elderly, the sick, the special needs and the unwanted. ❤️‍🩹

She’s been having a tough time recently, especially with the cost of vet care and funds are running low. I’ve offered to step in and help rally donations for a very urgent eye removal surgery for one of her precious kittens.

👉 The surgery will be done at Welcome Bay Vet Clinic and is expected to cost $1,200–$1,500.
👉 If you’d like to help, you can deposit funds directly into the clinic’s account using the reference provided.

Every single dollar will go straight towards this kitty’s surgery. It would be incredible if we could raise the full amount and take the financial pressure off this wonderful lady and her family.

Rooster is a busy, clever, affectionate young dog who thrives on stimulation and interaction. He’s a working-dog type at heart… happiest when he has jobs to do or space to run.
• Indoor life: Sleeps soundly in his crate from 6 pm to 6 am, fully toilet trained, not destructive indoors (no chewing furniture, no hole-digging lately).
• Affectionate & smart: Physical touch is his love language… he’s a couch cuddler and “passenger princess” in the car. He’s extremely intelligent: drinks from the fridge water dispenser, turns light switches on, knows commands (sit, lie down, circle, through legs). If you sneeze, he’ll come check on you!
• Water dog: Loves swimming, jumping in the shower and is a strong swimmer.
• Healthy: Born with a naturally short tail, no allergies or skin conditions.

🐕 Behaviour & Training
• Other dogs: Gets on well with most, especially larger dogs. Loves off-lead play at the park.
• Cats: Not suitable.
• Kids: Hasn’t harmed a child, but due to his energy, best with older/dog-savvy kids.
• Quirks: Can get jealous of the resident dog, reactive when collar/harness is put on (but manageable, as he accepts it happily in the car). Can be demanding of attention and stimulation, but he’s also incredibly loving.
• Current support: On fluoxetine to help manage overstimulation. Training support is available through Linda at Holistic Vets, who has offered to help his new family.

🏡 Ideal Home
Rooster needs:
• An experienced, patient owner
• A larger property or lifestyle block where he can thrive
• A calm environment where he can be “top dog”
• Ongoing training, structure and positive reinforcement.

💔 Reason for Rehoming
Rooster is a wonderful, healthy young dog but struggles with jealousy towards the family’s other dog. This has caused stress in the home, and his humans want the best for him… a space where he can shine as the centre of attention and reach his full potential.

Marcy is a calm, independent girl who enjoys being around the right person. She’s not too keen on being picked up, but once she feels comfortable, she’ll happily rub against you and hang out in your space. She’s a sunbathing queen, a bit of a lazybones and when she’s had enough stimulation, she’ll politely wait by the door to head outside for some fresh air.

She has her quirks too… ignores regular cat toys but loves batting sticks around like a little weirdo. 😆
She’ll happily potter in the garden with you and if you’re working out at home, she’ll be right there supervising your reps! 💪🏽

🐱 Compatibility
• Kids: Best with calm, gentle children
• Cats: Best suited to a home with no other cats
• Dogs: Depends, as she did well with the family’s old dog

Marcy’s current home has become too chaotic for her chill nature. The stress has led to recurring bladder infections, but she’s now on a special diet and has responded well to treatment. In a quieter, calmer environment, this should no longer be a concern.

💔 Reason for Rehoming

Marcy is stressed and unhappy living with two energetic sphynx cats who dominate the house. She’s not receiving the love and peace she deserves and it’s affecting her health. She needs a calm, loving person who can give her the relaxed lifestyle she craves.

The pound keeper has agreed to cancel the appointment if they have a safe haven to go to but we need to organise that NOW!
