thank you Jenny & Isla, Jenny for your ongoing food donations pretty much every week she arrives at my place with bags of Kibble and Isla whom I met at Countdown earlier today and she handed me a heavy bag of chef cans and a couple of 3kg bags of kibble thank you so much you are both such Angels xx thank you xx

"Please help" This is about how much food I require per week to feed the colony of cats we are managing plus the 8 I have at home bing domesticated and cared for at home 6 are now available for adoption. If you would like to donate some of these items to our cause please pop them into our donation bin at vetlife Motueka or msg us and we can pick them up from you, any amount, even just a can of pass cat food is very gracefully received thankyou.

Barry and Larry, 2 dear old souls in need of a loving furever home, they are 12 year old brothers whom will flourish in the right caring home, they are loving and gentle but shy, they don't fight or scratch and bite they are 2 beautiful older gentleman both brothers and 12 years young. They are desexed vaccinated and chipped and in quite good health. both have been wormed and have been deflead although didn't seem to have any fleas, they would love nothing better than to park up on your knee or the couch beside you and purr away while you pat them. These boyos must go to a caring furever home. They will need to be kept inside for at least a month while they get used to their surroundings, having a conservatory or catio would be amazing for these two as they are a little frightened of being outside, but they are both brave and loving and will probably just follow you around the garden all day.

4 adult cats (including 1 tom cat) & 12 kittens out, desexed, vaxed and chipped approx 22 older cats to go and we are about to see more kittens as they are bought out of their nests.

Desperately needing a new home 🩷

❤️❤️Barney is 5.5 years old 🐈and has been desexed and chipped. He has not had a recent vaccination. He has wobbly cat which I wonder if it is cerebral palsy as he has always been unsteady on his feet but he is perfectly mobile. He uses the dirt box and is clean.

Barney is shy and has had a difficult time adjusting to the loss of his house as he is one of the cats belonging to a woman who lost her home recently. He has been fostered with 2 of the other cats from the house and is still shy with the fosterer. However if he is given a safe, quiet environment he will become a lovely loving cat and will be good company for someone.

Barney has not been outside for several years so would require a slow introduction to the outside world. As with all these cats who are adopted if it does not work out they can be returned.

Meet Lou 🐈
A 3 year old short haired Tabby cat. She has been desexed, chipped and vaccinated. 😍

She is a cat that was taken from a colony and has been living inside for a couple of years. She is not well socialised but is a very beautiful soft and loving girl. She is beginning to come out of her bed and be more sociable. She does not scratch or bite or hiss – is just nervous as she like the others has lost her home.

She is very clean using the dirt box and I have noticed she is a slow picky eater. Lou would be a lovely cat for a person/s in a quiet environment probably without children. She will need to be kept inside for a month or so until she gains her confidence then a slow introduction to outside may be good or a catio.

I hope someone may be able to give this beautiful girl a safe forever home with lots of cuddles when she gains her confidence. She deserves it…🥹

‼️Please give me a furever home‼️

🐱Daisy is 3 years old little, long haired tabby cat.
She has been desexed, vaccinated and chipped.
Daisy is small wee thing who takes awhile to warm up and trust as she has not been well socialised. She was a rescue cat as a kitten.
Daisy has a skin complaint as she is long haired but recently when at the vet she had some antibiotics and that appears to have fixed the problem for now. I am not sure what the problem is at this stage.

She would do well in a permanent quiet home as a lone cat. She has not been outside for a long time so would need to stay inside for a long while to make sure she is trusting and then perhaps introduced to the outside world. She has very clean habits and is a girl who loves to sleep. When she trusts she will purr readily and does not scratch or bite.

She has been with me for awhile and is now becoming a very friendly and talkative wee girl. 🥰

Our rescuing and fostering efforts for these cats and kittens is to ensure a smooth transition into their permanent homes. Although their departure can be very sad, the joy we get from giving them a good start in life makes the heartbreak worthwhile 💗🥺 our reason why 🫶 any donations we receive goes towards us being able to continue doing this work.
