Meet Goody 🐾

Goody is a lively, energetic little girl with a big personality and plenty of enthusiasm for life! She is playful, fun-loving, and definitely isn't afraid to let you know when she wants some attention. With her confident and outgoing nature, Goody is sure to keep her new family entertained-and on their toes!

Her new family will need to understand that owning a puppy is a big responsibility. Goody will require time, training, exercise, enrichment, veterinary care, patience, and plenty of love and commitment.

Meet Baby!

Baby is a gentle, soft-hearted girl who has had a big change in her life. She came to us after her elderly owner moved into a care home, and after years of living in one familiar household, she's now waiting for the next chapter.

What Baby wants is a calm, quiet home to retire in: a sunny windowsill, a cosy bed, a predictable routine and someone patient who is happy to let her set the pace. She's the kind of cat who will quietly become your shadow once she feels safe.

If you have a peaceful home and a lot of patience, Baby would love to spend her golden years with you 🐾

**An update on Sunny, one of our gorgeous gingers who went home back in July** Cheers Dana 😍🐈🐾
Dearest SPCA staff,
This is an update of our handsome boy we adopted on Wednesday, 15th July 2026
Now 6 months old, Sunny is very vocal, loving and likes to take part in whatever we do, indoors and out.
He especially loves his meals and treats, playtimes, tummy rubs and birdwatching in the trees.
We are very grateful to have Sunny in our lives and want to thank you all again.

**An update on Mischief the weee kitty that went home only yesterday* Thanks Ashlie and fam 🐈💛
Hi Rotorua Centre.
Ashlie and Mischief here.
We had a really good drive home. A couple of stops along the way. He was super happy and purring at times.
We got home to a quiet house. Which was nice for him to cheek the place out before the kids got home.. within half an hour he was happy and playing. First night went well.. few cries and meows. By half 5 this morning he was snuggled in bed with hubby and I happy and purring.
This morning he took a-bit to come out of hiding once the kids woke. But was soon happy and playful with lots of purrs and snuggles. So happy to see him comfortable.
Napping and eating very well.
He’s growing to be comfortable with fluer. That will take a little longer but very happy to walk past her and brush up on her.
Thanks again for allowing mischief to be part of our family. We love him so much already.

**An update on Colin from Accounts, now named Rip** thanks Justin and Michelle 💛🐕🐾
Hi team,
Colin has been renamed to Rip, because we love Yellowstone and because I'm pretty sure he's going to rip everything to pieces that's not metal.
Hes settled in nicely with Ivy and Bruce and apparently this is where he has picked his sleeping spot.
Hes helped in the garden, hidden my shoes, helped find a lost toy under the table, won the fastest eater competition, sat in an online meeting and won the hearts of the entire household. Hes super nosey and shares his opinions in conversations. Hes become my little shadow where privacy means nothing to him. Hes had more sleeps than a bear in hibernation and we've only had him for 4 and a half hours.
He's absolutely perfect.
Thank you so much for today's adoption. We love him so much, he's going to have the best life 😀

Wyatt is an absolute sweetheart with a loving nature and a beautiful bond with the people he trusts. He's a quiet, gentle boy who listens well, loves a good chest rub, and is happiest sharing cuddles, playtime, and companionship with his favourite people.

He's already learning some wonderful life skills and knows "sit," "stay," "lie down," "outside potty," "roll over," and "good dog." He's also comfortable wearing his harness and is getting to experience the world through short outings, meeting new people and other dogs.

Wyatt is ready to find his people - a family who will cherish him, guide him, and love him for a lifetime ❤
