This very cute pomeranian cross has just finished up his board and train program. He traveled from Wellington to stay with us so we could work on some pretty intense biting behaviour. He didnt like being handled/touched, or having a leash put on him so he would lash out in these situations. This made going for walks nearly impossible! He made incredible progress during his stay with us and became a much more confident and happy boy. He started enjoying his walks again, and he learned that being handled wasn't such a bad thing after all 🐾

We are working alongside SPCA Canterbury to help give these amazing dogs the training they need to make it easier for them to find their forever homes!
Some dogs, such as this gorgeous puppy here, come and hang out with us during the week to work on their dog socialisation skills & general obedience (ps. The puppy in these photos is available for adoption so check out the SPCA website!). Other dogs that need a bit more intense training come and stay with us in our board and train program. We also have regular dog training workshops at the SPCA facility to help educate their staff to give them better skills & knowledge for working with the dogs in their care.

We are so thankful that we can make a difference and provide these dogs with beneficial training to help get them into their forever homes 🐾

We are hosting a level 2 obedience class very soon! Read below for more details & instructions on how to book

Time: Wednesdays at 6.30pm
Duration: 5 weeks
Cost: $240
Start date: 29th October

Requirements
- your dog must have completed our obedience group class
- your dog must be dog social/tolerant of other dogs. Due to the nature of this class, dogs will be off leash nearby each other.
