I created this a while ago but it’s more important now than ever to understand!

🤔 You might think one greyhound only supports its owner and trainer…
But the truth is, one single greyhound has a massive ripple effect across countless people and industries.

Every dog in work helps keep an entire community thriving and this list isn’t even close to exhaustive.

One greyhound.
One athlete.
Dozens of households supported.
Hundreds of jobs strengthened.

Greyhound racing isn’t just a sport, it’s a vital industry that keeps communities, small businesses and entire regional economies alive.

And it all starts with just one dog. 🐶

IRT New Zealand Trotting Cup Day was huge. It was Ōtautahi's best of the best coming along to celebrate Australasian harness racing. Join us for the New Zealand Greyhound Cup with the first race at 5:09pm with 12 races over a stunning evening on course 🥂

💸 Keen to punt? In the second half of the race books is the Greyhound clubs Placepick Competition! Every Thursday, $100 is on the line as you have a placegetter in seven consecutive races... this meeting it's going to $1,000 🔥
