An obedient dog is a much more pleasurable experience for owners and people the dog comes in contact with than an uncontrollable dog. Just being able to give the command to SIT, WAIT and HEEL is essential. And your puppy enjoys knowing it's boundaries as well.
𝗣𝗨𝗣𝗣𝗬 𝗣𝗥𝗘-𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦 – Starting first Wednesday of next month. We are running four Puppy Pre-School Classes each Wednesday of the month starting at 5.30pm. This is a great opportunity to socialise your new puppy, as well as starting their training. Enrolments are essential and numbers are limited to 8 puppies (each 4 week class), so if you'd like to enrol your puppy then contact the Veterinary Centre by the Big Blue Cross, 18 Sefton Street, Timaru - Ph 03 684 5666.
𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
* Puppy needs to be vaccinated for Parvo and Kennel Cough
* Aged between 8-12 weeks is ideal ... although smaller breeds can be older. We just want to ensure that puppies are a similar size to avoid any rough and tumble injuries.
* Cost $89.90 Incl GST

Hope you all enjoyed the Veterinary Centre - By The Big Blue Cross Pet Tent at the North Otago A&P show! I am sure we were the most popular site at the show and it was great to see you all there.

We were luckily enough to have puppies, guinea pigs, ponies, bunny, & lambs, and there was a huge number of familes through, with puppy cuddles, stroke the ponies and pet the guinea pigs all very popular. It was so great to see the interaction between all the pets, and the kids & adults alike!

Big thanks to Happy In Hooves for the ponies, guinea pigs & bunny. and to Kevin Thompson for the 14 puppies (I was so relieved to do a head count at the end of the day and still had 14!). 🙂
