I have a passion for Irish horses, breeding, selling and producing beautiful Irish Sporthorses!

Two peas in a pod these two, just love Rose Grace & wee Raine is just as beautiful as his gorgeous mumma. Such an athletic wee man, and so much character ❤️.

His half sister Finni (same sire) is looking a absolute picture aswell heading into Ashburton A&P next weekend, then she will go back up on the hill to grow some more ❤️🥰.

Absolutely smitten with this cracking wee man out of Rose Grace (NZTB by Niagara) by Derrynasagurt Silver (Imp Ireland), great example of the Irish Sporthorse 🥰 his lucky new owner will be absolutely rapted with this wee guy ❤️

Well with the tiniest bit of wax last night at 357days I popped the foal alarm on and put Rose Grace in the foaling paddock. The most miserable weather of course. At 4.45am the foal alarm went off and text book foaling with Raine arriving at 4.55am. Ticking all the boxes and was in a hurry to get on his feet. Lovely big c**t to go Grey! This beautiful boy is already sold so congratulations Denby Lawlor on safe the arrival of your beautiful boy. Rose Grace is the best mum thank you EventStars Ltd ❤️🥰.

Think we might have to find a dog rug for the big guy for tonight as my foal rug is too big at the moment. They are happy bonding for now and have plenty of shelter though so off to work I go, the rain can let up whenever it likes though now.

Rose Grace 340days, looking fabulous, moved into new paddock next to the foaling paddock! Looking at her small bag I'd say a good 3 more weeks! Shes going to cook this baby good and make me wait a while longer yet!

Fin is now 11months old standing at 150cm a month ago 🙈 is going to be a very big girl, pretty excited to have her out at a few shows soon, first stop SC Spring Equestrian Show 10th & 11th of October, Finni led horse, Pippa our first attempt at working hunters/RTR novice (on Saturday) aswell as saddle hunters (on sunday) 💓

I hope everyone is making the most of this amazing weather we have been having, it looks like it might be coming to an end soon, I know we have been enjoying it. Baby Fin is now 8 months old and just a sweetheart, I'm excited to watch her grow up and follow in her big half sisters footsteps, I believe she really is one to watch but I am a tad bias of course, but she has some incredible movement when she gets that big frame moving.

Rose Grace is growing that baby bump beautifully and I so excited to meet her first baby for us in September, she certainly made the most of rugs off yesterday getting as muddy as possible ♥️.

Pippa and I finished our hunt season early a few weeks ago and will now turn focus to the season ahead with some different goals and some fun to be had but you'll still see us in the show ring on the odd occasion 😉😍. SJ training with Sonia last week (and many other occasions) has been very valuable for us, I'm super lucky to have such a great friend who shares her experience and knowledge aswell as her facilities with me ♥️.

Remember if you like the idea of a Rose Grace baby get in touch as her foal will be available at weaning. She's had some beautiful babies in the past for EventStars Ltd, Goose who is successfully racing for Gina and their beautiful Juno who is by Gina's lovely Malfy 😍, she had another 2 TB foals aswell the last I believe sold to Australia 😍 absolutely stunning mare with the most amazing nature we love her to bits.

Our beautiful Rose Grace (from EventStars Ltd) by Niagara and in foal to Derrynasagurt Silver (Due September) basking in the beautiful north otago sun, this foal will be available at weaning so if something you may be interested in get in touch. Rugs off to check on everyone and will have a much over due wee tidy up this afternoon before rugs back on. She's looking incredible and her bump is growing very well. Everyone enjoying some sun on their backs. Also a few snaps of Pippa enjoying hunt season which is very quickly coming to an end with closing just around the corner. Will be the shortest day and show season back with warmer days before we know it ❤️😍 baby Finni has been a wee star with her training lately aswell ❤️😍

Life's been pretty busy. Hence no updates for ages. Pippa did some Show Hunter at Ashburton back at end of January, North Otago A&P for Supreme Champion Horse & Res Champion Saddle Hunter at Temuka Geraldine & Xc country schooling last weekend & now we are getting ready for Hunt season with SC Hunt Opening this weekend.

Baby Finni is weaned and happy, loads on float happy as and growing like a w**d, she is going to be pretty special ❤️.

2yr old Emmy has finally found her person and heads off to her new home at the end of April traveling north with some good friends ❤️.

And how good does Rose Grace look with her baby bump 😍❤️

Well haven't posted in here for a while so thought would pop some results here. After a few weekends over January of Show Hunter with some mixed results, a absolutely awesome time at Laura Collett Eventing clinic in Dunedin (first day amazing, second day Pippa was a little unwell so we cut our clinic short) and a awesome lesson during the week with Helen Ensor ❤️👌.

We donned our show gear for Palmerston A&P today for a great morning of showing coming away with Reserve Champion Open Saddle Hunter. Was a nice change to be out in the show ring again for the morning. Next stop Show Hunter at Ashburton in a couple of weeks 😊.

We want to wish everyone a very safe and happy festive season. May you all have a wonderful time with family and friends.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year, let's see what's in store for 2026 ❤️🙌 pic courtesy of chatGPT making Finni & Nik very festive 😆🥰
