Getting a puppy??? Seems super hard to say....BUT our last puppy class for the year starts next Monday (17th November). Puppies need to be 8-12 weeks to start & had their 1st vax a week prior. They do NOT need to be fully vaccinated & when they are, will most likely be too old for puppy classes. It's a very short window of time. There are a couple of spots left to start on Monday.

Puppies do their best learning from 8-12 weeks. Getting into good routines & habits go a long way to creating a more chilled, relaxed atmosphere and while getting a puppy at this time of year can be fantastic...there can definitely be pitfalls.
Kids off school, home for the Xmas break.....while that sounds great...if not aware, when things return back to normal routines at the end of holidays.....a situation with an anxious puppy could be an absolute nightmare to deal with.

We see this situation all the time and in most cases shouldn't have needed to happen...AND it's very hard to go back.

Confused about what to feed your puppy? (OR your DOG)
🟠𝗣𝗼𝗽 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘅 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲

The most important thing when bringing home your new puppy is to keep the food the same. No matter what your thoughts are on food (and we all have different ideas) the last thing we want is for your puppy to get 'Stressy' Poos. Once your puppy has settled in and comfortable with everything - new people, new environment & new ways of living without mum & siblings, then it's all good to start looking into alternative foods.
Whether you're wanting togo with raw feeding, a biscuit feed OR a combo style of feeding, whatever you choose NEEDS to work for your puppy. There are all sorts of reasons why a food may not work - skin & itchy issues, ear issues, digestive issues etc. Digestive issues can be for allergy purposes - different proteins, individual ingredients or grains can all cause problems in dogs. For ALL these types of problems, working out, what the problem could be, can take time BUT the way we suggest, is usually very quick OR at least quicker than most!! Many people will tell us they have tried ALL sorts of foods so it isn't food related - AND it may not be BUT unless trying different foods is done, knowing and understanding what you're doing, you may not get any good results at all.

PLEASE Note that your puppy OR dog may be very sensitive to change. Please introduce ANY new food into their diet over a period of about 7 days. This will give them time to adjust - A reminder too...not EVERY food will be right for EVERY dog - they're all very indiividual, it may take time to get it right.

MISSING African Grey!! (oops sorry just updated - had Galah in my mind without looking!) Please keep an eye out for this bird.
It's extremely windy and this bird could be further afield by now. If you hear an odd noise or something odd happening - dogs barking etc then please investigate - These could all be signs it's around your area.
