Hi Loafie followers,
This is Gabrielle (Abbey’s sister) - I help Abbey with her socials, and today I’m writing to ask you to help us help Oatey.
Many of you have followed us since Oatey was just a wee pup! So it’s with a heavy heart that I reach out for support.
Last month, Oatey got a painful eye injury that led to multiple surgeries, but none have worked. Now, he urgently needs a specialist to save his vision. The cost is $10,000 - and pet insurance won’t cover it.
Abbey (the founder of Loafie) is waiting for wrist surgery and hasn’t been able to work full-time. When it rains, it pours.
Abbey is known by us all for her generosity, kind heart, and willingness to help anyone - but asking for help herself is something she finds incredibly hard.
Right now, she’s swallowing her pride because Oatey means the world to her, and saving his sight is all that matters. We have set up a give-a-little page to raise funds for the surgery. Any donation, big or small, will help give Oatey the chance to live a full, happy life with his vision intact. Alternatively, you can help us by purchasing a Loafie product.
